Transgene |
A gene used in transformation (see transgenic plants). |
Transgenic plants |
Plants that have been genetically engineered using recombinant DNA techniques for new characteristics. Transgenic plants are produced by adding one or more genes to a plant genome using a process called transformation. |

Variety |
